Yesterday it was Eid...

Today Holi...

Tomorrow we are celebrating the 41st Independence day and 17th Republic day of Mauritius.

This morning I was listening to the Holi songs along with the National theme of Mauritius on the radio

The song was so beautifully written and each and every words meant a lot

"Mauritius hain desh hamara,

Jaan se apni hum ko pyara,

Hindu, Muslim, chine....

Aapas mein hain bhay bhay

........................................"

Our four coloured flag means a lot to us

The Red means Hindu

Bleu means Christian

Yellow means Chinese

Green means Muslim

Thus we are all bound up in a multi racial society as one people, as one nation in peace, justice and liberty forever and ever!!!
