That's the tag line of IRCTC. I should say that the quality of food in/at the railway stations has drastically improved if you compare with what we used to have in the last 4-5 years. It might be becoz of Lalu or Nitish or Mamta or anybody for that matter. But, the quality is definitely improving. If you compare the food that you get in a Shatabdi or a Rajdhaani, you can feel the difference. Added to this is the Comesum chain of restaurants at select cities which serve delicious and importantly, hot food.

But, yes, there is other side of the coin as well. The quality is not the same in other trains and espically when there is no pantry car. These people get the food that's prepared at some restaurants or in some remote places/ godowns etc. Hope this will improve soon. At the end, who will not be ready to pay a premium if the food is delicious and hot, at a railway station?
