I am thoroughly disgusted at the ever increasing number of useless, and at times meaningless reviews being posted on MS these days. Some of them are plain, incoherent gibberish, while some are plain "cut-paste" jobs from other sites.
I notice that most of the offenders are actually new members, and meaningless reviews their first post. While some old members may at times write reviews/posts that may not be high on quality, but their contribution can almost never be dubbed as "gibberish" or 'cut-paste' job.
May I suggest MS one method to get rid of this menace. MS should create a screening mechanism whereby the first review, first diary, first mobile message and first comment of every new member does not get hosted instantly. Instead, it should be screened for nuisance and only then should it reach the MSians at large. This would save the loyal MSians the pain of this menace and improve the quality of posts.
Is anybody listening?
