We have been using the data for quite a long time now, but did we noticed one thing that the speed mentioned in the data plan is always more than what we get, I mean we always get less than that. The case is worse in case we are using mobile data where say 4G speed comes as 2G or 3G most of the times. Now to check the data speed, we use say Okhla speed test or similar apps or websites, but wait. check again your data speed in mobile what you are getting. Did you noticed anything? No?-> You need to improve your knowledge and skills to understand this, Yes?-> good so now for you say speed might be in MBPS if you are using 4G data plan but now when you browse any website or download any apps in mobile from play store or others you will notice that the speed what was mentioned in the speed test app is not matching at all.
Reasons:
Mobile data whatever plan you take always depends on the signal you get, type of mobile you are using and how much apps you have in your mobile which all are simultaneously using the data when you are downloading something else. Anyway the speed here you get is not 4G at all, it's always 3G or less,
Worst case is data will not work even when you have the signal full and plan active, this is the way how the service providers saves the data from their end to save money from their end and users always suffers. Example: Area: Manyata TEch Park, Bengaluru, I was using the best speed network Vodafone and it was not working at all got frustrated:(
Jio has almost good network even in basement it works but speed here is still issue at least in Bengaluru, same plan when I use in other state it's really fast upto 1 MBPS and here it's just 30-40 kbps in normal case.
So hopefully now you get little idea how to deal with this, please feel free to share this with your friends and colleagues and do come to this post in case you want to know more on this.
Thanks & Regards,
Manish Kumar
