Dhauladar range in Himachal Pradesh is the home to many beautiful places and Dalhousie is one of them, a small hill station established in 1854 by British Empire. Surrounded by the snow-capped peaks, thick green cover of forests, refreshing ambiance makes Dalhousie a perfect place where one can relax, retreat himself physically and mentally.

My last visit to this karisma on the Hills was on April 22 this year , you all wont believe when the metros are burning on the croaching sun , in this paradise it was snowing .

Not only it's a place which makes you realize you how beautiful nature is in itself but also gives you a feel of Scottish and Victorian architecture in its buildings and churches.Dalhousie's natural beauty, refreshing air, sunshine and nature's blessed surroundings add charm to its treks and walks over the dense forests. Thick forests look like beautiful green carpets covering the surrounding hills.

Dalhousie is situated approximately 2,100 Meters above the sea level. Spread over an area of 14 sq km, Dalhousie is build on five hills.The flora and fauna of Dalhousie is something worth of mention. While trekking through the various forest routes of Dalhousie, tourists often get mesmerized by the beauty of the colorful flora of the place.

Dalhousie is literally a paradise on earth, Dalhousie is dotted with many Victorian and Scottish bungalows.There are many ancient temples and churches in Dalhousie that remind of the religious glory of the place in the past ages. Adorned with an excellent natural splendor, Dalhousie also boasts of a rich cultural heritage.

The handicrafts, folk music and dance, fairs and festivals, paintings and museums of Dalhousie collectively present a breathtaking view of the cultural dynamism of this hilly destination.

I surely can say this place Often called India's Switzerland, the exquisite glade of Khajjiar , Along its fringes, thick forests of deodar climb the slopes, the snow-line rests above these woods you would love to spend a entire day their sitting in the valley surround by the deodar and pines , this place offers a great adventure sport like rolling , sky diving etc.

There is no denying the fact that Dalhousie is an attractive manifestation of the all-encompassing beauty.
