Do you want to know how Nokia cheats its customers in India? Read on, I have been a victim of its idiotic policy.

Please carefully note that the warranty of a Nokia mobile phone is from the Date of Manufacturing and NOT from the date you purchased it.

So if you purchase a Nokia mobile phone in January 2010 that was manufactured in July 2009, then the warranty on the mobile phone purchased by you will expire in July 2010 itself. The warranty is not till January 2011.

So whenever you buy a Nokia mobile phone, please be careful in buying only what has been manufactured in the current month and outright refuse to buy even Nokia mobile phones manufactured in the previous month, if you want to enjoy 12 months warranty.
