Last year has seen an array of releases among all the OEM’s. But that’s 2012 , let’s move on to 2013. This year will also see a host of new mobiles released some of which has already created ripples among the tech circles.

1. Samsung Galaxy S4

The Samsung Galaxy S3 cemented a legendary status for the Galaxy Line and so this phone is clearly a winner even before its release. And its rumors are as juicy as it can get. It is rumored to be launched during the Mobile World Congress which set to be held in March and the specifications seems far from ordinary. It will have a 13 Mega pixel Camera , a 5.1 inch full HD display which will a flexible super amoled and will sport a 1.9 ghz quad core processor . 2. Apple Iphone 5S

I did push it to second place, and I know some apple fans are grinding their teeth while reading this. But the fact that its predecessor did not live up to expectations (mine) and that the apple sales chart has been a downhill in this part of the world is also a factor of concern. But love it or hate it you simply cannot ignore it. Nevertheless , the hype surrounding this phone never seems to die and rumors were flying ever since the release of iphone 5. This device is supposed to have a bigger screen, better processor and some changes with the internals. Stated to release in the second half of 2013 this phone again is an assured blockbuster. 3. Sony Xperia Yuga

Many of sony’s strategies backfired in the last year. Even with great hardware and commendable software, this tech giant couldn’t make a huge dent into Samsung and Apple’s domain. Something has clearly gone wrong which I guess even the company is trying to figure out. But they might be able to make a considerable effect with this device its planning to launch this January at the International CES which I’ll be covering in a blog later. 4. HTC M7

HTC has performed far better in the last quarter of 2012 than the entire period of the last two years which may stand a testimony to the company’s renewed strategy and of course the devices were brilliant too, with Droid DNA almost pulling it off for them and HTC one X+ getting rave reviews. The HTC M7 is stated to release in the 3rd quarter of 2013. It is rumored to have 3 gb or RAM, a 5 inch screen and a 13 MP camera. 5. Blackberry Z10

This is the least anticipated among the most anticipated phones of the year. Whether or not this device helps to boost the Canadian’s giants dwindling fortunes is yet to be seen but according to the leaks and preliminary assessments at some benchmarking standards the device performs pretty well and looks fantastic too.
