I had a leakage in one of external ppr pipes. I was able to get a plumber (sent by the authorised plumber) after following up for 2 weeks and almost 15 calls. The maintenance person who came fixed the problem in a very strange way. will post a pic soon to explain what I mean by strange. On being asked the reason for this fix, he said "PPR pipes are fixed like this only...if they were steel pipes I would have fixed them as expected". This fix costed us over Rs 1000 including labor and parts.

We followed up with his boss who assured he would visit us and get it fixed properly. It has been another 3 weeks and 2 dozen calls but he has yet to come on site. Incidentally we again have a leak at the same location for last 10 days ! Moral is : Advanced technology is good but only when it has well matured in terms of having good after sales support.
