i recently read a article about plasitc water bottle.

o my god that was really shocking. After reading that I crushed my water bottle into the bin.

we all have a habit of re-using mineral water bottle is it? In our house,office,car.... almost every where.....

i never new that we all r in danger....

yes .....is it killing us day by day.

many of us are unaware of poisoning caused by re-using plastic bottel.

a 12yr old girl died in dubai using a pet bottle ......

the article goes like this.

the plastic POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE OR PET

used in this bottle contain a potentially CARCINOGENIC element

CALLED AS 'DIETHYLHYDROXYLAMINE' OR DEHA.

all mineral water bottles are made out of this element.

this bottle are safe for one-time use only; if you must keep them longer well we can use it for a couple of days or well maximum a week.most important is keep away from heat.

but ...insted we preserve the bottle ...and we wash and groom that little devil with us for days and for years.

repeated washing and rinsing will cause the plastic to brake down and the CARCINOGENS ( CANCER CAUSING CHEMICAL AGENTS ) LEAKES INTO THE WATER THAT WE DRINK.

is it not strange....................?

this is not smthing we should be scrimping on.

HOW TO AVOID THIS:

Check on the bottom of the bottle there is a triangle sign and there will be a number on it.

If the number is higher than or equal to 5 --> then this bottle is safe to use.

Whatever number under 5, will release the chemical. For most bottle water, the number is 1.

Did you know chemical released by plastic water bottles can cause cancer

(It is not the water that affecting you but the chemical releasing from the bottle)
