PLS DONT BUY Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos I9082. I BOUGHT THIS MOBILE ON 23 FEB HAD THREE COMPLIANTS.




  1. Video recording - After playing recorded video, the audio is noisy and disturbing. There is a problem in the device capturing audio to the file recorded. I have two video as proof on this issue. This is found on second day of the purchase and proof has been shown to service center executive before submitting the handset.




  2. Handsfree connectivity - After connecting the handsfree to the handset, handset still reads "Please connect the handset".




  3. Auto disconnection: While dialling phone, the call gets disconnected minimum three or four times (sometimes) before it goes for dialling.






I am really frustrated of using this defective handset and I had to experience a new compliant and it adds irritation of using the product. It is upon Naveen(VOC team) request, I have submitted to service center and I asked them only report on the issue complained not to resolve the issue where I am not going to take back this handset from service center as this is definitely a defective product and no customer will continue to use the product once he realized and proved to service center that it is defective.


Inspite of being submitting with the proof of the video recording issue, I was asked to submit the video proof again. After submitting the proof for 3 days, Naveen manager Vikas Tyagi said that there is no issue found in the handset and asked to collect the handset (not in a professional but very rude manner). I spoke to Deepak dhar and I explained the issue again completely for about 40 mins. I find that both Vikas and Deepak are in the same intention of closing the issue without resolving it just becoz the customer has bought it and there is no other choice is left.


The most ridiculous and funny part is I sent two video proof of video recording issue but the quality report came out to be no defect. I am wondering how the quality team checked the issue on my compliant and how they came out defect free. They always say that they have Samsung service center has captured some video sample and they don’t find any defects. It is the customer who submitted the handset in service center with compliant and surprised to see defect free irrespective of the proof.


No wonder the quality team said it is defect free with proof being sent to the team. This has taken toll of my personal time, effort and money spent on this issue.


I said I don’t want this product and I don’t want any replacement. I AM TOTALLY DISSATISFIED WITH PRODUCT AND I NEED REFUND. When I discussed this issue with Deepak he said he can never refund/replacement irrespective of these complaints.


He expects the customer to live with defective handset. He was very confident that the set is not defective based on the report received from the team. I told him to collect the handset back to Noida and give me a replacement and Deepak das is not ready for replacement too. If Deepak is not confident about the handset given to me as defective he should be good to gimme replacement as it is defective only from customer end.


SO SAMSUNG SUPPORT TEAM KNOW S THAT HANDSET IS DEFECTIVE AND THEY ARE NOT CONFIDENT ENOUGH READY TO TAKE BACK AND KEEP PUSHING THE DEFECTIVE HANDSET TO CUSTOMER. THIS HAS REALLY TARNISHED THE IMAGE I HAD WITH SAMSUNG PRODUCTS. DEEPAK AND VIKAS(RUDE MANAGER, WHO DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE ISSUE AND SPEAK TO CUSTOMER) IS NOT EVEN INTERESTED TO UNDERSTAND WHY CUSTOMER IS SO DISSATISFIED WITH PRODUCT AND HE IS EXPECTING REFUND AS THE LAST OPTION AS HE LOST CONFIDENCE ON THE PRODUCT. IF SAMSUNG TEAM IS NOT READY TO TAKE BACK THE HANDSET WHY DO YOU THINK THE CUSTOMER HAS TO BUY AND USE IT. IT IS NOT CUSTOMER JOB TO VISIT SERVICE CENTER AFTER THE PURCHASE OF SAMSUNG PRODUCT AND FIX THE ISSUE ENCOUNTERED EVERYDAY.


On the last, I asked for india Samsung head Vineet Taneeja email id as I don’t find right solution, Deepak was not ready to give and cover up of his end as he know that mistake lies with Samsung team and they don’t want the genuine customer to escalate and find the right solution.


Indian Samsung team is totally unprofessional and rude to the genuine customer complaints. one can very well check how many complaints you get in weekends (as the customer is jobless to be standing in queue to submit the issue and looking for resolution) and this is not new defect to the service center. When the product has so much of complaints and it is company responsibility to give right resolution and give right compensation to the customer for the bad experience of usage.


I have all the conversation recordings as a proof to submit if required in consumer court. I am going to publicize in facebook and other reviews so that customer will read before buying any Samsung product. Am sure many bad experienced customer will join me to support as this is regular and normal complaint becoz more customer is affected. PLS PLS PLS DONT BUY SAMSUNG GALAXY GRAND DUOS IT IS DEFECTIVE
