I am writing this blog because I own a Compaq Presario notebook computer and its down with serious hardware problem. before I came across link above I have shown same at HP Service center at Chennai, there they told it will cost me 17000/- only...? to repair the same. I purchased this laptop from Bangalore just about one year back. and it has a big problem it its motherboard just after 1 year standard warranty ended. Finally somehow I came across the link above and now I have given same at hp center and hoping for repair same with free of cost. Frankly telling you one laptop service fellow offered me giving 4500/- bugs for selling him as a scrap. I can not express what feelings I had in my mind about HP/Compaq products.
