Rasiya realised that he was finally in love. And this, combined with

the ideas of the unreliable source, led Ramprasad Rasiya to think that

now all this should lead to happiness. But there was something weird

about the situation. Devi always looked at Ramprasad Rasiya as a man

who could never get thrilled. Devi had rejected Ramprasad Rasiya's

request to let him sit next to her while her devotees got the

blessings. Nor did she ever give him the blessings. And now ever since

Devi had realised that her end was near, that death was only a matter

of months and not years, she could look at no one but Ramprasad Rasiya

for being close to her. Devi, in the last few days of her life, wanted

to feel happy and be loved. She let Ramprasad Rasiya love her. But she knew that he would loose her.
