I have Samsung UA40ES6200R Smart 40-Inch Full HD LED TV and Sony Home theatre E 380.I am using Videocon D2H services with Platinum HD pack. My connections are as: 1. HDMI output of STB----------HDMI- 3 INPUT of LED TV. 2. Digital Coaxial Output of STB-------------- Digital Coaxial Input of Sony BD player .3 Digital Optical out of LED TV--------------Digital Optical Input of Sony BD player. 4. HDMI output of Sony BD player -------------HDMI Input DVI (1) of TV. 5. HDMI (ARC) of LED TV ------------HDMI Input (IN 1) of Sony BD player. After completing all the above connections I switched on my TV and STB .I got nice result as nice sound and very good quality of picture than I switched on my home theatre again very nice result. But no Dolby sound .I studied all this matter on the internet and matter was cleared .I pressed I of STB remote and then yellow button .I found that my sound was only stereophonic and not 5.1 channel digital Dolby. I changed my STB setting as stereophonic to Home sound .I was surprised when I got no sound on the selection of HD channels and selecting optical connection .I got 5.1 ch digital Dolby sound after selecting SPDIF connection. So matter is clear as if we select Home theatre sound rather than stereo in STB & through HDMI connection to the TV on the selection of HD channels like stat movies, Movies now Discovery ch HD etc. .Than we got NO SOUND. This is I think technical failure and Videocon should clear the problem may be upgrading software. Anyone have solution!! Please tell Thanks.
