Renault is the only car company which perceptibly has no concern for its customers what so ever. They do not have any transparent practices; their service advisors are crude incompetent and do not brief and debrief their customers about the work they have carried out in their workshop.
Their service centres throughout India do not display any information regarding their grievance redressal mechanism. Complaints are not handled with a humane touch. Genuine grievances of the customer are conspicuously rubbished which is disheartening.
It is bizarre to note that such a car company continues to survive in our country in spite of so much advances made in consumer protection rights. May be these corporates wield lot of power to subvert a consumer of his/her rights and get away by giving substandard service at a premium price which is the hallmark of Renault.
In USA no company can afford to mislead a consumer even a iota without inviting and losing exponential amounts in law suits. This should be the norm that should be followed in India as well.
Then only the slogan'JAGO GRAHAK JAGO' will find its value in both letter and spirit.
