Atek Extension Cord 6 Multiple Socket 1.5 Meters product was ordered thru ShopClues on Sunday - May 18, 2014.

The following additional comments were added:

Product was received today - May 22, 2014. The product bore a sticker - Power+

with no usage specifications. It was not the mentioned product as indicated in the invoice.

There were 6 multiple sockets - testing was done by tester and all the sockets were found initially to be O.K. On putting mosquito repeller for testing it was found that the repeller did not fit into any of the 5 sockets. In the sixth socket, the repeller was connected and on switching the power supply, the fuse blew up.

The crap item which has no resale value, cannot be returned back to the seller as per

the terms agreed upon.

The product was sent from Gurgaon by B B International.

The only lesson learnt from the above is:

Beware of online purchases of electrical items with such conditions. Even if it is a bit costly, it is advisable to buy from a genuine electrical shop rather than from the fake dealers tagging with online portals just to hoodwink the customers buying online.
