Hi, This is regarding order no. 3171520111. I bought Nikon D5200 DSLR camera for Rs. 42894. I ordered the product on Oct 13, 2014. As per the communication, it was supposed to be delivered on Oct 20, 2014. At first instance the delivery of 7 days is high by any standard. Keeping in view the delivery standard of other e-tailers, the time lag is on higher side. Again, I called to customer care on Oct 17, and the waiting time on call was minimum 10-15 minutes. This I may accommodate keeping in view the festive rush. After waiting for 20 minutes, I was informed over IVR that I will get a call back in sometime. I waited for one day but no response came. Again, I tried to call customer care on Oct 18. Similar thing happened, but I keep on trying. Finally, I get through the customer care executive after grueling 3 hours ordeal. When I asked about delivery date of my order, the customer care executive was bit of clueless character, with little help. To my utter surprise, she asked me couple of times do I want to cancel my order. Do Snapdeal train there customer support executive to cancel genuine order?

I waited for the delivery of product on Oct 20, but it didnt came. When I checked in snapdeal portal, it revised the delivery date to Oct 25. I am not sure, why false commitments are made by growing companies, when they do not have back end infrastructure to support the claim. The shipping date given on website is more of a eye washer, to manipulate the dates. Snapdeal, if you are listening, please understand the genuine problem faced by online customers. We travelled a long way by trusting you guys in ordering things online. These things will force us to go back to traditional brick and mortar stores. My experience with Amazon and Flipkart is much better and there was customer delight factor. I am missing this delight in snapdeal. I ordered the product to gift to my wife on her birthday. But now I am totally in a fix and not understanding what to do.
