This one's dedicated to a special, special, special friend who held my hand through a really tough time. Why did he care? Where did he come from? I don't know. But I'm so glad he was there. Thank you my dear friend. This one's for you:
We go through this journey called life
Sometimes it’s a jet plane ride
Fast, hurried, no-time-for-anything pace
A sure fire route to angst and strife
Sometimes life gets slow
Like drifting along on a boat
With no shore in sight
Leaving you peaceful and mellow
Sometimes life’s caught in a traffic jam
You don’t come or go
No solution in sight
And then you feel life’s a big sham
But you know it with every bone
Whatever the pace of this journey
You need a hand to hold
For you cannot go alone
And sure enough at every stage
Someone, somewhere suddenly
Comes to hold your hand
To guide and give you courage
Sometimes they stay on with you
Sometimes they come and go
But somehow they help you move on
By giving you courage new
Where do they come from?
Who sends them to hold our hand?
Someone, somewhere suddenly
Is just there, how come?
Why do they suddenly become so dear?
These unknown faces you meet on the way
Healing your wounds by just being there
A mystery that shall never be clear
To all those who came from somewhere, suddenly
And helped me wipe a tear, and move on
I don’t know how or why…
but you are the building blocks who help to complete me
