I am up on the roof, aloof,
Shades of black, Palettes of white,
A silent hysteria, burning,
Burning deep inside,
As I stare into the starry night!
Up on the Roof, the rustling leaves, humm around me,
I see Shades of black, Palettes of white,
The gloomy skies, covered in grey,
Proud Stars, glowing with all their might!
As I stare into the starry night!
Up on the roof, my eyes met a void afar,
Resembling a harmless spite,
Resembling a priest awaiting salvation,
Resembling a dove, tailoring its flight,
As I stare into a starry night!
A silent hysteria, burning,
Burning deep inside,
Flaming stars, blocking my eyes,
Or the Darkness guiding me along,
I cannot make out!
But I want to see,
Beyond the stars, beyond the darkness,
I see a light brighter than the stars, beyond the Darkness,
Beyond the Darkness I see a light,
As I try to steer clear of the Darkness!
To find the light among the Dark Skies,
I Stare, I Stare coldly into the darkness,
I see Shades of black, Palettes of white,
Shades of black, happiness,
Palettes of White, Sorrows,
I cannot make out,
But I see both,
Shades of black, Palettes of White,
As I stare into the starry night!
