My interaction with Tata Docomo online customer care over chat as follows.
It is self explanatory. The guy was more interested in upselling a product to me rather than resolving the problem.
Useless service, useless network & over & above a very useless customer care. I faced this with Tata Photon as well:(

{Me}But for the past 2 days the SIM shows as UNREGISTERED SIM. Unable to make calls or receive calls. Can you tell me the reason?

{Me} Understood you have no tie up with Airtel, but I am not asking about your NETWORK tie-up. I am asking about REGISTERED/UNREGISTERED SIM . Should it not show NO NETWORK instead of Unregistered Sim?

{Majeed}Not to get confused. As we do not have network in delhi so you will get error as REGISTERED/UNREGISTERED SIM.
