Hi friends,


My interaction with Tata Docomo online customer care over chat as follows.


It is self explanatory. The guy was more interested in upselling a product to me rather than resolving the problem.


Useless service, useless network & over & above a very useless customer care. I faced this with Tata Photon as well:(

{Me}Hi Majeed.I am having a problem with your SIM. This is an Andhra SIM & currently in Delhi(Roaming)


{Majeed}Okay


{Me}But for the past 2 days the SIM shows as UNREGISTERED SIM. Unable to make calls or receive calls. Can you tell me the reason?


{Majeed}I Understand YOur concern Mam.


{Me}thanks you, but what is the solution?


{Majeed}As You are in roaming circle in Delhi


{Majeed}You will not get our Docomo network over there.


{Me}Why?


{Majeed}May I know how long do you stay in Delhi


{Me}May be another month.


{Majeed}Ok


{Majeed}But we have 180 days roaming pack for Rc252


{Me}I don't want to buy any packs.I first want to know why it won't work in Delhi?


{Majeed}Yes As we do not have docomo network in delhi circle


{Majeed}So you will get other networks over there.


{Me} Understood you have no tie up with Airtel, but I am not asking about your NETWORK tie-up. I am asking about REGISTERED/UNREGISTERED SIM . Should it not show NO NETWORK instead of Unregistered Sim?


{Me} This is so ridiculous!


{Majeed}Not to get confused. As we do not have network in delhi so you will get error as REGISTERED/UNREGISTERED SIM.


I finally gave up!
