This is an anecdote told to me by a certain friend whilst in college. I would like to share it and hope it gives all the self proclaimed “losers” a reason to laugh (at themselves i.e.).

I am here to talk about the anti-hero; yes the epitome of imperfection in most or all aspects of life.

From your school days:

You were picked on by bullies, were the constant butt of jokes in class, the mischievous boy in the entire 5th grade, outscored and outsmarted by every student, last in every sports meet and probably even detained for a whole year.

During College:

You tried to fit in but somehow weren’t good enough, Again your big forehead was the sole reason you got attention, had your girlfriend stolen, didn’t study good enough and basically you were just no good.

Please note, the above qualities are just simple, lame examples and I’m sure no one is that big a loser.

OK!!...Now to conclude. If you were one of these things or all of these things be HAPPY!!

Look at the bright side. All through those years you made the other people look good. If it wasn’t for you they wouldn’t be what they are. So those so called “heroes” are indebted to you.

You made the bullies in the school feel strong, you brought smiles to others faces just by showing your face, thanks to your poor grades the geniuses felt elated.

So, it’s not so bad to be the “ANTI-HERO”.
