I have been a member since inception in 1999, when it was easy to book holidays at short notice of one to two months.Over the years with aggressive marketing the membership has outgrown the availability and some of the resorts are not available for next six months.Moreover, the Annual Maintenance charges was separate from 'Uttlities' ( for soap, toileteries & linen) and the uttlities charges were paid directly to the resort when availing holidays. Somewhere down the line these two charges were combined and the members are forced to pay regardles of whether availing holidays or not. This is another way of fleecing the members.I also understand that the property which were bought /built with membership subscription is now used for non-members and corporate group bookings at much higher rates thus depriving members of their legtimate timeshare.
