We had booked Kodaikanal local sightseeing tour from this company for the next day. We were told that we will be picked up from the hotel in the morning. The tour was supposed to be between 9:30am to 4:30pm. We waited for the pickup to come till 9:45am, however the vehichle did not turn up.

We called the manager there(Jerald). He said he will look into it. Then a car came by 10:10 AM. it picked us up and left us at Travel Inn office. We waited there for around 20 minutes. It was already 10:40am. Then a shared vehicle came in and we were asked to board that vehicle for the local sight seeing tour. When I asked that it is already late by 1 hour, will we be shown all the points. They said yes, all points will be covered.

When we boarded the shared vehicle, the guide told us that since we booked late, there is no time to view the first point(i.e Coakers walk). Infact, we had booked the tour one day before. We tried to explain him that it is not our fault, but Travel Inn's fault. But in vain. When we argued he said rudely, go and come back in 10 minutes. How can we enjoy a long walk, click snaps and come back in 10 minutes? He kept on saying we have booked the tour late. We tried to explain him that the tour was booked one day before. Travel Inn did not send the vehicle in time. He said, it is not his problem.

We called Jerald, who purposely disconnected the line 2 times, and when I asked him, why he does not want to speak to the guide, he then spoke to the guide in their own language(which I did not understand at all). I asked the guide what happend, he said nothing. And the guide forced us to board the bus back.

I want everyone to know that Travel Inn is a CHEAT company. They spoiled our trip. Do not book any tours or service from them. We are not the only case here. We were later told by many people that Travel Inn does that way. Infact, we had seen a foreign tourist waiting in their office for a Bus. And the guy in their office told him, that the bus is not going to go today. The tourist had booked the bus ticket, paid money, and wanted to travel that day itself. But he was deceived as well.

So beaware of Travel Inn Tours & Travels
