A trek 4300D is a mountain bike from Trek, brought into india by firefox bikes, and available across all firefox showrooms. I picked it up whilst looking for a firefox and it was love at first site. these bikes are of different sizes- with them varying on the body build and size.

This is critical- as a bike should be sized correctly for every individual rider in order to optimize riding comfort and experience. The 4300D comes with front and rear disc brakes, a preloaded front suspension, shimano gear system and a very light frame. The gear shift is one of the best I have used in my life, and I have been riding cycles for over 23 years- extremly smooth and very effective. We cycle about 25 kms a day and the bike is a dream.

its vry smooth and with the various gears makes riding effortless. After riding treks, its very difficult to fathom riding on other cycles- given the vague propotions of the cycle and the "one size fits all" approach. However, being an expensive bike, one does tend to fuss a lot over it. this in turn makes it very impractical in terms of daily use and parking it anywhere - because one is alway worrying about it. :) Else- its a lovely ride and excellent value for money oackage
