Triund Hill - Dharamshala is located 2830 m above the sea level with all the high mountains and greenery all around.
The trek starts from the Gallu Devi Temple and ends at the Triund hill at the top with the distance of approx 9 km.
The best time to trek is from March to May that is the first quarter of the year.
However, the trek is open is all season. The best part of the trek is at the start point there is a Himachal Police checkpoint which keeps the record of people going on the trek each day along with the ID proof details and contact number.
The up-climb starts with a 35-degree angle at first. The trek is little difficult as the route is rough and slippery.
Please go on the trek with High-end mountain shoes and trekking stick. Along the route, there are small cafes, wherein people can take rest for a while. Cafes provide tea, coffee, maggi and more. The famous one is the Magic point. The view is real magic from that point.
Once arrived at the hill, there will be no network. The only thing available will be peace and nature view. But there is Reliance JIO network only at a particular area on the hill. The night is very chilling up on the hill. The whole Dharamshala city lighting can be seen from the hill. It's really awesome, one can never forget that view.
Truly speaking apart from the chilling cold, I enjoyed the stay up there. It was awesome and I will always remember that one cold chilling night in my life.
I recommend all my friends to once experience this trek. Thank you Triund for much a memorable experience.
