Recently came across an Unauthorized Dell Distributor/ Dealer who has been selling 'Grey' Dell Systems. This shop is located near Arenja corner vashi. This dealer provides sells Dell systems, but is reluctant to provide Receipts and discourages people from asking for Receipts. He mentions that there is no point in asking for a receipt as the systems come with 1year warranty and they can give it to him for any replacements during the year. Additionally if customers insist for receipt, he charges an additional 12.5% on the sale price. On comparison it was found that the prices are higher than what is offered by Dell Online. He also provides installations of pirated Windows 7 and always comes out with new problems in the systems that need service or repairs. Quite a few people have faced the brunt of fake parts and incorrect installations. He claims to be the owner the Dell Store located opposite McDonalds Vashi. He is involved in many malpractices and provides spurious parts on the name of Authorized Dell Distributor. It is a request to all Navi Mumbaikars to refrain from getting any cheaper services from this guy as he initially offers discounts on the old Dell parts and later on comes out with additional charges from the one the quoted initially.
