Hi,

I am from bangalore. In Bangalore traveling in auto is going very expensive and recently they revised the price Rs 20 for the first 1.8-km and Rs 11 per kilometer.

This hike is already a great burden. On top of that, many of the auto drivers are not putting meters itself, they are blindly asking 350, 400.

I just want to travel from Malleshpalya to Madiwala its 12 kms, as per the calculation it has to come around Rs. 130 , but at the normal timing from 9 am to 5 pm they are asking around Rs. 170 - Rs. 180.

If we are going at night after 9pm then they are asking around Rs. 250 - Rs. 300.

No one is ready to put meter, if meter then they are asking double.

And in the early morning, when I am returning from my native place to madivala, all the auto drivers will rushing towards the bus door and they will pull us, by asking the location and silently they will tell Rs. 300 - Rs. 400 and we have to avoid those guys and we search higher then by luck you may get 1 or 2 who is ready to go at Rs. 200 -Rs.250.

My travel to native place ticket price itself Rs. 400 (up and down is Rs. 800)

But auto charge is Rs. 230(up and down is Rs. 460)

Soon even middle class people also has to forget traveling in auto.
