The Portuguese Hernani Broco (LA-Antarte) gained Sunday the third stage of the Turn of Portugal, disputed over 151 kilometers between Viana C Castelo and Mondim de Basto (northern), and is seized the yellow jersey of leader.

Broco preceded in a sprint with two its compatriot Ricardo Mestre, another Portuguese, André Cardoso, finishing 3rd at six seconds of the duet of head.

With general classification, Broco charmed the first place with its compatriot Sergio Ribeiro, victorious of the first two stages and preceding leader, made 9th at Mondim de Basto at 18 seconds.

Monday, the 4th stage of the " Volta" will start from Lamego to traverse 182,3 kilometers in Gouveia.
