Raft Building and White Water Rafting at EmPower Activity Camp was a unique experience. We (a group of 49 including our MD) went there on Saturday for team building exercise and it turn out to be a huge fun at the end when we were trained to make a raft with bamboos and truck tyres. We were also trained to sail on the water.

We were divided in four teams and we went for rafting. Woof!!! We all messed up in the middle of the river and teams started moving in all directions. A total chaos but we enjoyed. All of us were new to this sport and were learners. It was great a great lesson to understand how to work in a team.

This camp is managed by Ex-Army officers at Suttarwadi, off Kolad on Mumbai Goa Highway in Maharashtra.

This place is approx 120 km from Mumbai and 109 km from Pune. Public transport is not that good so one you have to go by your own vehicle. Overnight stay is really enjoyable.

Different types of accommodation are available. Most important is type of activities they conduct is unique. Managed by ex-army officers so discipline is very tight and once in a while we should undergo this type of activities for our own benefit. A group of 20-30 is better. They also conduct programs for families and school kids.
