It is not that Blackberry did not exist before the Z10, but it just did not match up to its IOS and Android competitors and as a result RIM was slowly losing its ground, sorry its officially blackberry now. The recent release of the Black Berry Z10 might give some breath of fresh air to the ailing manufacturer. Let us see how the Z10 stacks up against the best of the other worlds.

The Dimensions, look and feel– All the mobile above give us a premium feel, The Sony Xperia Z has a full glass body and looks great and is the thinnest of all these devices, unfortunately acts like a fingerprint magnet. The Nokia 920 has a great uni body polycarbonate design but it is thicker than the rest of them in this list and fat too heavier at 180 gms. The Blackberry Z10 and the Iphone 5 look great, I should rather say that they look like siblings but as the original creator of such a design was the Iphone 5, The apple should be the winner here.

Display – The Iphone 5 has a 4 inch Capacitive Retina 2 display with a resolution of 640 x 1136 resolution and a pixel density of 330 ppi. It is a very good display for sure but there are others that steal the show in this regard. The Nokia 920 has a better screen with better color contrast and great viewing angles but in terms of pixel density still lags behind the Blackberry and the Xperia Z. The Blackberry’s screen is better than the other two but when you have a bravia 2 engine and a pixel density of 442 ppi thereis o way the Xperia Z can loose.

Processor and chipset – The Z10 and the Nokia 920 has the snapdragon dual core 1.5 Ghz processor, but as the Z10 has higher pixel density it drains battery faster. The iphone 5 also has a dual core 1.2 ghz processor but here again the quad core 1.5 ghz snapdragon s4 of the Xepria Z rules the roost.

Memory – The iphone 5 comes in varying memory capacities of 16, 32 and 64 GBs , it does not have expandable micro sd card support. The Nokia 920 comes with just 32 gb of internal space without micro sd card expansion slot. The Blackberry Z10 comes with 32 GB onboard storage and with 64 Gb of expansion availableand so does the Xperia Z and as for the RAM , the Nokia 920 and the Iphone 5 has 1 gb of Ram while the Blackberry Z10 and the Xperia Z has 2 Gb’s of RAM. But the memory management in the ne BB10 is much better than the Android jellybean.

Camera – The isight camera sucks literally, it has a lot of issues so it is already out of the race, Among the other three it’s a tough competition. The Sony Xperia Z has a 13 MP camera capable on HDR video recording, the only mobile camera to do so, while the Blackberry camera has some stunning features but nothing matches up to the pureview’s low light performance. The pureview camera on the 920 is the best of its kind.

Battery –Kitna tikti hai? This is a very big question. The Blackberry Z10 lacks in Battery performance for sure, the Nokia 920 also has issues with it with many customers complaining that the photography takes up the lot battery. The Xperia Z has a 3000 mah battery , but I’m not a very big fan of android device’s batteries and I’m quite skeptical about its performance. The iphone 5 sure has a great battery even though it is a 1440 mah battery being a Li- Po battery it discharges slowly.
