This is with respect to programs organised by Gera for development of the children who are residents of their project Song of Joy in Kharadi, Pune(and I am proud to be one of them!) . We have attended only 3 such programs so far - Dale Carnegie series on self-confidence, Master Chef and Getting Rid of Exam Phobia - but are very happy with their efforts & sincerity in conducting the programs for our benefits. The phrase of "Child-Centric" home is not just a phrase, they have marvelously put the words into action. We now feel proud to be associated with Gera and my children look forward for their next program. It has not only helped the children to focus on thinking what they want to achieve but also made them plan the steps they need to undertake to achieve their goals. Exams are just round the corner(the timing of the last program could not have been better than this!) and I can see my daughter Palak actually planning for it and also enjoying the studies.gone is the pressure that "there is so much to cover", etc. She also developed a love for trying out new things in kitchen. Not only do the kids, but we also eagerly await mails from Anitaji to see what’s surprise she has for us next. We probably would not have thought of getting into such programs on our own, but can see the benefits of having our children and even ourselves attending them. Really appreciate the effort of Gera(and of Anitaji in particular) with regards to such programs and hope they keep on continuing them and on "Outdoing" themselves!
