This incident happened in Kalpataru Estate Phase II, Pimple Gurav, Pune last evening October 11 around 7pm. A 14 month baby was electrocuted when he accidentally came in contact with the lamp post in the garden area of the society. The child had come to play with his grandparents but had momentarily strayed away from them.
Apparently the earthing in the lamp post was not proper when the incident took place.This points to gross negligence on part of the builder who has been happy to collect 2000-3000 Rs as maintenance from the residents but can’t guarantee even the basic safety to its residents. The particular problem had been highlighted to the builder time and again but no action was taken.Not just that even, after this unfortunate incident has taken place none from their management has even the basic courtesy to come and see what has happened.
Friends we should all rethink before going to such builders who are extracting our hard earned money but not providing even the basic services.
