this is sourabh kumar, 2015 passout mechanical engineering from kolkata.
I take the courage to say that I got placed in SIL by giving aptitude test, group discussion, after that they told us to pay 30000 in the name of(bharitya vidya mandir) to them as they will cunduct a 2 month classroom training and after that they will send us to respective sites throughout india. We a batch of 30 students from different colleeges did the same, they promised us to give 15K per month and told that 5K from that will be given to mechanical incharge in their respective sites as they will give their valuable time to teach us. After 2 months of class room training when we were sent to our sites the whole scenario was different, their was no one to teach us our first salary was given 3 month after the joining, after a lot of requests, half of the students leave their job after 2-3 months those who survived were thrown out after 7 months(in offer letter it was written as 10 months) no holidays, they used to cut the pay if u don’t come for a single day due to medical emergencies. still now we are having due of 2 months and we didn’t got certificate of training also it has almost been 1 year we left the company.
So I request you friends to please don’t get lured to such kind of offers rather go for direct recruitment.
