Working at Vishnu Group has proven to be quite challenging due to several fundamental issues with management and workplace culture.
I had the opportunity to work with this company and unfortunately, my experience is far from positive for reasons like:-
1. The management at this company is notably poor, characterized by erratic decision-making and an overall lack of support for employees.
2. Staff members frequently face threats of dismissal, and it’s not uncommon for salaries to be withheld or even docked without clear justification. This creates an atmosphere of constant insecurity and stress.
3. One of the most demoralizing aspects is the evident favoritism towards a small group of long-standing employees. While these individuals regularly receive raises, the majority of staff members are left feeling undervalued and underappreciated. The companys management tends to categorize employees unfairly, with many being labeled as "slow" and deemed unworthy of increments. This practice not only creates a hostile work environment but also undermines overall employee morale.
4. Additionally, the companys approach to employee time off is harsh and unforgiving. The number of days off is minimal, they ask you to work on National Holidays or join office on weekends i.e., Sunday. Taking even a single day off results in salary deductions. This rigid policy not only affects morale but also creates a workplace environment where employees feel pressured to work despite illness or personal issues.
5. The pay scale to majority employee is significantly below industry standards. Despite the demanding workload and high expectations, salaries are not competitive compared to other companies in the sector. This pay disparity is a major point of frustration and had led to high employee turnover.
6. Adding to the discontent, this company seems to be in a constant state of hiring, which is very concerning.
Overall, it is a challenging place to work, with management practices that are detrimental to employee well-being and professional growth. I would advise potential job seekers to carefully consider these factors before joining.
However, I found an excellent culture when it comes to interpersonal relationships. Colleagues generally have strong, supportive relationships, and the behavior towards staff is commendable. The camaraderie and mutual respect among team members are standout aspects of the company.
