Electrolux... Nightmare ... No..No...Never Buy

The product was purchased in Jammu on 26/06/02. Time to Time, there have been small problems like some tube getting cut or spring breaking or heavy noise while drying. This was tolerated and accepted as routines. After all these on 24/06/04, the timer failed to function and a complaint was logged on to Bangalore (since my current location is Bangalore), after persistent follow-up service team comes after couple of days and identifies the problem. They do not find the required spares for replacement . After about a month the team informs that a new timer is being replaced which actually was an old and worn out unit (photographs are available to prove). When objected, the Electrolux team has an indifferent attitude to this ?Cheating Exercise?.


The greatest irony is that letters to company including its CEO stands un-answered till date. As a customer who has invested his hard earned money, I have called up their Delhi office couple of times and still the in-different attitude continues.


The machine is still lying at a corner awaiting the attention of ELECTROLUX?.


Conclusion :


ELECTROLUX has a great name to reckon with worldwide ?.. but the service, attitude towards customers, servicing norms, non-availability of spares, indifferent attitude by one and all would only suggest that such a company should not be supported?


ELECTORLUX ?. My nightmarish experience and do not know when we would get over it?
