The book which influenced me the most ..

Most influencing book : ’’India my love: Fragments of a Golden Past - Osho’’

Please do not judge the book before hand. I suggest do not judge this book at all - just read it, absorb this book in your soul and body. If you judge something it means you do not trust it!!

Few excerpts:

’’India has renounced everything for a single search, the search for truth. Certainly their search was very different from the search that has been done in other countries. In other countries, people were thinking about truth; in India people were not thinking about truth - because how can you think about truth? Either you know it, or you don’t; thinking is impossible, philosophy is impossible... Neither logic is needed nor genius is needed; what is needed is eyes to see’’

’’India is not just geography or history, it is not only a nation, a country, a mere peice of land. It is something more: it is a metaphor, poetry, something invisible but very tangible. It is vibrating with certain energy fields which no other country can claim..’’

’’India is the only country in the world that has valued a bhikshu even more than an emperor’’

Osho takes you on this journey in a way which will assault your senses and rape your soul

Osho discusses dreams, meditation, silence, music, consiousness/awareness, truth etc in a fresh way which speaks volumes for him. He will introduce India with his short stories about the kings who turned beggars, wise men, lovers and warriors, artists - making each of these characters come alive in the pages and deliver the answers to questions which still continue to intrigue our psyche.

His style of writing is very simple and easy to understand - I have already read this book 3 times in the past 2 years. The book just flows like a river leaving you all drowned and you would definitely want to read his other works.

I highly recommend this book to all readers.
