This product may no longer be available in the market and may have been replaced with newer models. But I wanted to share our pleasant experience with this outstanding product from Videocon.
We purchased Videocon fully automatic top load washing machine(V-NA-51) in April 2000. That’s almost 19 years back. This washing machine served us for almost two decades without any major problem. There were only three repairs in total out of which two were minor. 19 years is a very long time for any machine to be operative. That’s the quality our own Indian company has to offer.
Kudos to videocon. Today, we finally got it replaced. We wanted to go for Videocon again but the kind of features we were looing for, didn’t exist in videocon. Also, we couldn’t find Videocon anywhere in many major stores. I hope videocon enters this segment with a bang once again and give tough competition to international brands like Samsung and LG.
P.S. We replaced it with an LG washing machine for now. But given a chance we would have opted for Videocon once again. A lot of memories were attached with the old machine, my mother hand picked the machine and she took utmost care of it. It was a family member. Great product.
