I bought a 4-Door-Kreation wardrobe from Girnar, Godrej Interio Showroom in Behala, Kolkata, West Bengal- 700008 on 20-Dec-2021.
Within 10 months of its installation the leg of the wardrobe bent inside on its own without any human intervention. I raised the concern through call number 423290, technician visited on 20-Oct-2022 and took image of the bent/broken leg of the wardrobe.
Godrej told me that they would repair the wardrobe as it is within the warranty period, I insisted on returning the piece of furniture instead of repairing as it poses physical risk. A wardrobe that bends on its own is definitely not sturdy enough and may cause irreparable damage to my family. My mother who is an arthritis and asthma patient lives in that room. I also said I am even ready to return the furniture even if no refund is granted.
Godrej wrote me a mail stating either they would repair or they will help dismantling the furniture as I do not need refund. They expect the customer to throw away the wardrobe that was bought with INR 78, 570.00
Now, today I receive a mail stating that they already resolved my issue by canceling the indent for spares for wardrobe. They are consistent in their claim that the wardrobe is strong enough and pushing towards repairing of the defective piece of furniture.
I will advice people to look for other alternatives rather than buying Godrej Interio furniture. They will never understand your situation and will never refund your money and will force you to admit that that they have resolved your issue without even distantly working towards an amicable solution. They DO NOT value customer’s money.
