I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Sleep Company’s Anna Nagar branch in Madurai. On March 30, 2025, I made a special trip to the store, excited to finally check out the XGEN PRO gaming chair. I’ve been eyeing it for a while, and I needed to try it out in person before making a purchase. But guess what? The chair was nowhere to be found!
I asked the sales representative when the chair would be available, and their response was nothing short of pathetic. They couldn’t tell me anything concrete about when it would be back in stock. When I followed up by emailing the Sleep support team, I was met with more of the same. They couldn’t provide a clear answer and eventually sent me a generic response saying, “We will let you know when the product is available at Anna Nagar branch, Madurai.”
I even suggested that they simply keep one demo piece at the Madurai location, considering that every other chair was available for testing. But NO! Instead, they told me to go to Chennai if I wanted to experience the chair. Seriously? Why does the Anna Nagar store even exist if they can’t provide the products that are advertised in the first place?
It’s absolutely ridiculous that I’ve had to jump through so many hoops to get an answer. A customer’s time is valuable, and this lack of communication and customer care is simply unacceptable. I’m still waiting for a positive response, but at this point, I’m extremely frustrated and considering looking elsewhere for my gaming chair. If this is how Sleep Company treats potential buyers, I’ll take my business to a brand that values customer satisfaction.
