we stayed in a hotel which was a 3 star and that was an honeymoon suite, but yes you can definitely find a hotel in your budget, just search in yatra.com, they'll provide you with a lot of good options fitting in your budget. we took a taxi from delhi which was around 1500/day.
stay in millennium resort...a very nice property which is close by to the patong beach, just about 10 mins walking distance, and is also connected to the famous Jungceylon market. Regarding food you get good thai food there, if you are keen lover of sea food then its a must try. you will find some g read more...
