I had encountered similar issue. At the time of account opening I was told that as an offer from the bank i would need maintain only 5k quarterly average balance instead of the normal 10k. The only good service of ICICI is the ATM network. Their personal banking services are pathetic, specifically that involves some critical work. The folks sitting at the bank appears to be just out of their training sessions who has no understanding of how their own systems work.
