We started from Blore at 5 and were in Munnar by 4. We halted twice in between for tank refilling but no long halts. The worst part was from Dharmapuri to Salem, narrow road with lots of pot holes and heavy truck traffic....the road has now improved...we went to Kodai via this route in June...it has read more...
The drive is a little too long unless you are an ace driver and enjoy long drives. Road from Chinnar to Munnar is amazing; most of it is through the hills, very scenic.
