Depends on what you are looking for. A hatchback or a sedan. Both come in fully loaded models. Interiors are the same and fiat needs to improve on them. Price difference between the 2 is not much, and if you want a boot for an additional 50K, you can choose the Petra.
Fiat has introduced Euro III versions with a 1.2 L Petrol EL base model (which comes at approx 5.1 Lacs) and a fully loaded one - 1.2 EL AW (with alloy wheels and all) for 5.5 lacs. It does have a digital clock, which also serves as the display for the in-built music system (which is cool!). No air bags or ABS (but those are optional in most cars - and come at a premium anyway.) Been hearing 'fiats future is bleak' for the last 3 years. Still seem to be seeing a lots of new Palio's on the road. Petras seem to be picking up too. Anyone for comments? Its a petrol version. The disel version's said to be good, but priced much steeper. Purchased it in Pune from Ashwamegh motors. Sales seemed OK.
