true that the novel is confusing on many counts.....but her eplanations are so picturesque that its worth a read. though we could do with a little less of switching from one time to the other......

nice reiew....and as u have mentioned, i did not find the novel unputdownable either......liked his earlier parts more.......but he has matured as a writer and can manage to give weight to some serious issues like the riots......anyway, its worth ur time and money.

I found the movie rather tasteless. The dialogues arenot strong enough, the storyline is not so gr8 too....nice review anyway......
