Very good review, though a bit old now. You may want to updated with your recent experience as ECR had changed a lot after 2004. :-)
@Sudheer4079 As of now, no big maintenance problems as such just for occasional chain snags that was due to the bad road on which I used to commute often.

Good that you did it yourself and I am surprised that the 10th pass guy only charged you Rs.100. I personally do all these things myself and I never had issues. The boot space is very less. You need not go for a sedan for a better boot space. Even spark has 40 litres more boot space than A-star.
