I am a typical Taurean. Although I can be a raging bull in a china shop, but more often then not, I am a very very very very calm person. I am stubborn yet I am very down to earth (at the risk of sounding immodest). I am also, like most of the taureans, very lazy. I find it very easy to make friends and my mailing list has nearly 50 email addresses. If i count the number of friends I have who I am in touch with on a regular basis, I may reach three figure. (No kidding). I also notice that people find it very easy to confide in me. Why? Because when someone speaks to me in confidence, it stays that way. I am very serious where work is concerned and can not tolerate laid back attitude at work. I like people who are straight forward and absolutely detest people with split personalities. I am a hard core movie freak and have a couple of close friends who can accompany me for any movie, 1st day..1st show. My ultimate dream is to win the academy award for Best Writer.
ABOUT MY MOVIE REVIEWS - I was highly impressed by such movie crtics like Leonard Maltin, Simon Rose, Deepa Gahlot and to some extent, Kunal Kohli. My style of writing is the same as that of Simon Rose who is one of UK’s most respected film critic. Many readers like the trivia section of my reviews. Most of it comes from Imdb.com.which is like a bible for movie buffs online. Many people have also complained that i copy the trivia straight from the website and i am not original. They fail to understand that for writing trivia for any movies, you need to be either physically be present at the actual film shooting or need source. While the former is clearly not possible, i have to choose the latter. And one of my biggest sources is Imdb.com. So What is wrong ? Anyways, I do hope you take time to read, rate and most importantly, comment on my reviews. Your feedback is extremely important. Movies, Rock Music, Reading lots of non fiction and a little bit of fiction too. This is a part of what I like to do in my spare time. I love writing and mouthshut has given me a platform to do it. But for a very long time I am suffering from a writer’s bloc. Do I sound like some big professional writer? Well, yes I am exaggerating. Honestly, I get very little time to pursue my hobbies but I will promise myself to write atleast one review per week on Mouthshut starting October.
