U are going to do same mistake which I did about one and half years back. The engine is problem area. I too have same model. Since begining ( July 2004) it has a problem of giving intermittant and unpredictible jerks in the midst of drive. Tata People are not able to identify the cause and resolve i read more...

dear mukesh, i do not know what type jerks u felt. but in my case it is intermitant , some times during initial phase of journey it gives jerks and sometimes it goes for about 4-5 kms smoothly and then suddenly it gives jerk even at same speed and gear position. can u suggest probable area of tro read more...
