Is FBS trading platform a reliable broker to work with in a long run?

I trade gold on FBS platform for about 2 years. I don’’t remember exactly when I completely gave up trading currency pairs and started trading only gold. But I believe that this way I can do a better analysis. And my trading is more effective In my experience, I have seen that this broker is great for long-term interaction. FBS provided stable services and during these 2 years I had no problems.

Yes, it is only available as a mobile trading app. Is it convenient? Well, as far as a mobile trading app can be, it is. The primary purpose of mobile trading apps is to stay connected to the markets while on the go, sometimes execute trades according to your prior analysis, and monitor your positions. For these purposes, the app is doing the job perfectly fine.

As far as I am aware, yes, it is only for phones as on now, and available on Google Play Market and App Store. For me, yeah, it is pretty cozy to use, and doesnt take much time to adapt to it, fairly simple.

I would recommend any of them, coz I tried all of them, i.e. I know how to trade using both MT 4 and MT 5, as well as I was kinda curious about the performance of the FBS app. For sure, it may look unusual especially for those who test it for the first time, still, it’’s quite a functional alternative to hyping Metaquotes software. If you wanna change the visual aspect a bit, but don’’t want to sacrifice functionality and performance, then their App is a good choice.

Use any platform you wish, actually. Fortunately, regardless of your choice you won’’t be dissatisfied with the speed of order execution or navigation. As for MTs, then there are no questions about this whatsoever, because these are time-proven terminals. Speaking of their App, then it’’s also quite functional, they deleted it for a while and then released again. It seemed to be more advanced that it was back before, so you can test.

Usually there is lower demand on exotic pairs, therefore the spread tends to be much higher. The lower the volume, the higher the spread, as there are less players on these markets. However, it may also give you some possibilities, as if a person knows the exotic instrument well, they can predict the behaviour more easily.

Because it is so :) For some traders, it is not enough just to have access to reliable services. They need to have the most favorable trading conditions to get maximum possible profit. I think that beginners who don’’t have margin of more than 1000 bucks should not worry too much about this. But traders who have several tens of thousands in their account are very sensitive to trading conditions. And it is important for them that broker is cost effective. Like FBS.

Nope, I don’t think so. VPS can be free for traders who deposit more money, but if you are a beginner with limited fundings, then you have to pay for it. It’s not a huge payment after all, but still…

At the moment, FBS offers only two trading platforms; the MT4 and the MT5. There was a time when they had the FBS trader, but it is not available anymore. Maybe it will be released again.

Actually yes, it can be indeed that high. And for the second question - no I haven’’t, cuz it doesn’’t correspond to my risk management strategy. I am trading with a bit more modest leverage size. Still it’’s awesome that the broker grants such an opportunity on the platform. I bet there are enthusiasts who favor this leverage size and utilize it in their favor. At least, it’’s better to have bigger leverage than restricted one.

It is, but it is not forced upon you obviously. It goes up to 3000 but it is very possible to use 30x or even 3x too. It’’s all up to your strategies. I have tried it a few times, but you know, hard to manage those positions in the long term. You have to be absolutely certain with your posiitoning bias and it needs to be very short term, otherwise I don’’t see a way that it can be profitable. But if you catch the position from the right price level, why not..

As far as I know, that it was a possibility with the crypto accounts of old. However, now though, I do not believe that there are any crypto transaction methods available. What I like about the company - they stress which account type will suit best for a trader depending on his skills level. So, if you don’’t have any prior experience of trading, then feel free to choose between cent or standard accounts. They have favorable trading conditions, fast STP execution (but you ain’’t know what it is, just believe me) and tight spreads. I bet you will be delighted.

Yes, it has both - a demo and a cent account. What is the difference? Let me explain shortly. The purpose of both accounts is to offer a real trading environment for those learning, improving or testing trading strategies. The only difference is in the funds, with a cent account you trade with real money but the account balance is shown in cents. The cent account eliminates the main disadvantages of the demo account - not teaching you about trading psychology.

There are 3 types of accounts in FBS and they are standart, cent and pro.So it confused me a bit. How come the standard is better than cent. Actually they are almost the same but leverage in standart is 3 times more than in cent. In standart it''s 1:3000 and in cent is 1:1000. How come is that?

When a broker is working hard on trading conditions, it creates different accounts, it’’s obvious. But actually there’’s no point to implement identically similar ones, you know what I mean? That’’s why the main task is to make them different, and this is the reason why leverage varies. Standard account has a bigger leverage cuz it’’s used by far bigger number of traders, at Least I think so. Cent one is specific, but also quite appealing.

Based on their web page they are regulated by IFSC. It is an independent financial regulatory authority responsible for controlling investment services and transactions in transferable securities. And I heard only good things about IFSC so it is okay for me.
