DEAD PROJECT CLAN CITY needs Govt intervention

Over 1, 700 homebuyers have been left in the lurch after Chembur-based Supreme Builder abandoned its affordable housing project in Taloja.

M/s Supreme Construction & Developers Pvt Ltd. Joint initiative with MMRDA(Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority under an "affordable housing project" promised to develop Armstrong’s HEXCITY Project(now known as CLAN CITY project) on lottery-based allocation system.

Most of the flat buyers have paid 90 to 100 per cent of the cost before 2017. Some availed bank loans, a few mortgaged their jewellery, while some used their retirement funds and savings.

This project is in the dust and the Maharera Authority has given extension to the builder till 2024 without any inspection.

Now these tallest towers in Clan City have been in desolated since 2017, and entire project is standstill with no hope of completion and handover to its buyers.

Is there any hope of getting help from Government Authorities who has associated during launch of this project?

Is there any rule of Law in this Metropolitan City? to take appropiate actions to safegaurd common people rights.

What is the solution to revive this dead project legally, under double-engine SHIVSENA-BJP Government rule?
