Review of GLS Developer - GLS Central Avenue Project, Sector 92, Gurgaon.


My experience with GLS regarding the GLS Central Avenue project has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. Despite assurances of timely delivery and quality, the project has faced significant delays, with no clear timeline for completion.


One of the most troubling issues has been the lack of transparency around the project’s Environmental Clearance(EC). Based on my Right to Information(RTI) inquiry, it was revealed that GLS had repeatedly deferred the EC issuance, citing excuses and even requesting that it be placed on hold pending a wildlife No Objection Certificate(NOC). However, a follow-up with the Wildlife Department confirmed that no such application was pending with them. This raises serious concerns about GLS’s intentions, as it appears they may be creating false narratives to delay the project further and even suggesting that allottees cancel their units.


This disregard for regulatory compliance and lack of clear communication have caused significant stress and uncertainty for buyers, who have invested their hard-earned money. The absence of proper EC and regulatory updates only heightens our concerns about the project’s legality and its future stability.


Additionally, GLS’s customer service and communication efforts have been woefully inadequate. Buyers seeking updates on project timelines or EC status are often met with vague or unhelpful responses, leaving many in a prolonged state of limbo. For those affected, the financial burden of alternative accommodations and the disruption to personal plans have only compounded the frustration.


In light of these issues, I strongly advise prospective buyers to approach GLS projects with caution. It is essential to secure full transparency on regulatory approvals and a legally-binding timeline to protect one’s investment in the project.


If you’re facing the same frustrating delays as I am with the GLS Central Avenue Project, let’s connect and consider a collective course of action against the builder. GLS seems to be deliberately delaying the project, creating unnecessary excuses around regulatory approvals, and leaving buyers with significant financial and emotional strain.
