Unhappy with the commitments of the Marathon Build

We were told that we could get the possesion by dec 2018 but in agreement it was extended to june 2019 and we were promised that by june 2019 or before that the possesion would be given, but now the builder has sent a letter stating that they have received extension from RERA upto june 2020 and will be giving possesion in june 2020 that is delay by one year full year, Its completly like fooling the customers.

Same case with me also. Now they are playing a new game called fitout possession. which is another kind of fooling a customer. once if the customer will accept to the fit out possession they wont be lible to provide OC on time. and we need to wait endlessly.

I have been living in this project since 2020.




  1. This is a joint venture (JV) project with the landowner, and 40% of the flats remain unsold.




  2. The builder delayed the project by 4 to 5 years. Phase one was supposed to be completed in 2020, but it is still not finished.




  3. The society handover has been delayed for 7 years.




  4. The STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) has been shut down since July, and the society does not have sufficient funds to operate it due to the unsold inventory.




  5. There is no proper boundary wall for the project, resulting in too many street dogs, which is very dangerous.




  6. The project lacks essential amenities like a garden and a clubhouse.






I am frustrated because the property has no resale value, and property rates have depreciated by 20% to 30%.

Very sad state of affairs at Marathon Nexworld. I bought flat in 2018 and still waiting for possession. Builder is forcing to sign indemnity bond without providing proper amenities. Mr Parmeet Shah and his team is purely clueless. Top management is playing dumb and deaf . Without water and electricity connection, how one take possession?


People have put RERA cases against builder for not following timelines and not paying compensation. Dear Marathon Top Management, Are you in deep sleep, while this is happening? False promises are exposed now.

Was supposes to get possession in 2023 Dec but still now haven’t got ..Oc is also nit recieved emi is well started affecting me as have to pay rent and emi why don’t yourll deliver what you promised why is there delay in possession new projects are launched but the old one are just backfiring pls value your customers they are making ends meet to pay the loans understand

I booked a flat in 2019 and was told in agreement that I will get possession in june 2021 and still not got the possession even in 2023. I am facing a loss and paying intrest to bank. I will suggest not to buy home in marathon Nextown they don’t care about you. Don’t waste your hard earned money in this project.
